SelfTech is made by LocusEDU LLC. This page explains what data the SelfTech app uses, where it lives, and what choices you have. We wrote this to be clear, not to bury anything in legal language.
The short version
SelfTech does not have user accounts. You do not create a login or give us your email to use the app. Your data stays in your own private iCloud account. We do not run our own servers that store your personal information. We do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not show ads.
What data the app uses
The app stores information about your own nervous system signals, relationship patterns, and the entries you create inside the app. This data is saved using Apple’s CloudKit, in your own private iCloud storage. We do not have access to it, and it is not stored on any server we control.
Face ID and device security
If you turn on Face ID lock, SelfTech uses Apple’s Face ID system to lock the app on your device. Your face data never leaves your device and is never seen by us. Apple handles this entirely through its own operating system.
What we do not collect
We do not collect your name, email, or phone number to use the app. We do not use advertising trackers. We do not sell or share your data with advertisers, because we do not collect data to sell in the first place.
Subscriptions and payment
If you subscribe to SelfTech, your payment is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not see or store your credit card information. Apple’s own privacy policy covers how they handle your payment details.
Your control over your data
Because your data lives in your own iCloud account, you are in control of it. You can delete your data from within the app. We are continuing to improve how thorough this deletion process is across every part of the app, and we will update this policy as that work is finished.
Children’s privacy
SelfTech is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we make changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
